Within Yong’an City, at the clan’s residence, Chen Tianjing was reviewing the monthly accounts and examining the clan’s income and expenditures.

Beside him, Chen Yihu, dressed in a newly issued clan uniform, was explaining the details of the accounts.

Though the clan’s core remained in the Chaotic Burial Mountains, Yong’an City also required oversight. Chen Tianjing was now responsible for the clansmen stationed there, managing daily affairs and reporting back to the clan.

Chen Yihu's outstanding abilities had quickly earned Chen Tianjing’s trust, allowing him to assist with clan matters.

Just as the two were conversing, Chen Tianjing’s gaze suddenly froze as though he had sensed something unusual.

Chen Yihu noticed a trace of doubt flickering in Chen Tianjing’s eyes as he paused suddenly. Before he could ask what was wrong, Chen Tianjing’s face lit up with joy and he rushed toward the clan’s new ancestral hall.

Chen Yihu followed closely behind.

Soon, the two arrived at the hall.

Looking at the Divine Tree of the clan before him, Chen Tianjing’s face filled with delight. Though the Tree seemed unchanged, he could sense a unique spiritual resonance emanating from it.

Beside him, Chen Yihu’s body trembled. He felt as though a powerful consciousness were slowly awakening.

Although he was not of the clan by blood and had rarely interacted with the Divine Tree, he too felt it at that moment. His face turned excited as he looked at Chen Tianjing.

“Elder!”

"Quick! Notify all the clansmen in the city. Return to the clan immediately!"

"Yes!"

Chen Yihu hurried outside to spread the word.

Meanwhile, Ji Yang's projected consciousness began to sense the effects of his new divine ability.

Though it was his own branch, it seemed to exist independently of him; their Vitality was not shared.

Furthermore, Ji Yang could not sense his cultivation methods or divine abilities within this branch.

Yet, when Ji Yang’s consciousness attached itself to the branch, he discovered that he could wield his divine abilities and cultivation methods.

When he tested the Solar Eclipse technique, the locust tree’s leaves began to faintly shimmer with light.

However, as the branch absorbed sunlight, the locust leaves of his true body in the Chaotic Burial Mountains fell silent.

Ji Yang's heart skipped a beat—clearly, he could not use the cultivation methods simultaneously. The new branch could not speed up his absorption of Vitality.

Still, while cultivation methods were limited, divine abilities were not. However, this branch's Vitality was meager, so using divine abilities through it would consume the Vitality of his true body.

Even so, this branch had grown as thick as a fist in just three years, remarkably swift in its growth. Ji Yang could sense many of his abilities within it.

Among them was the Incense Locust Leaf.

However, the Incense power accumulated in this leaf was far less than that of the Chaotic Burial Mountains, likely due to the difference in the number of clansmen.
