Chapter 161 Struggle
Xu Ao stared at the toes in front of him, slowly raised his head, and his eyes instantly turned sinister and cold as he stared straight at Saudi Arabia. "Show me what other tricks you have up your sleeve! No need to keep me in suspense." After saying that, he spat out a mouthful of blood in front of Saudi Arabia, and then a slight smile appeared on his lips.
Looking at Xu Ao, Saudi Arabia had a fleeting thought that if he had been carrying a weapon, things would not be like this, and he would never have had the chance to torture him. Thinking of this, Saudi Arabia sneered, "You really are someone I admire. You look so refined, but you have such backbone. However, the harder the bone, the more decisively it breaks. You should understand that principle, right?"
After Saudi Arabia finished speaking, he waved to someone behind him. A moment later, a mercenary, looking sleepy, walked towards Saudi Arabia. They had already lost interest in Saudi Arabia's game. "Boss, we have a mission early tomorrow morning. Don't waste too much time on him," the mercenary said, handing Saudi Arabia the steel pipe he was holding.
"Shut up! Until this mission is over, I'm still your boss. I don't need you to tell me what to do!" Saudi Arabia took the steel pipe, stood up, and weighed it in his hand. "Hmm, it's quite heavy. This is solid. I wonder what a beautiful sound it would make if I hit it on your knee."
Saudi Arabia, with an almost manic smile on his face, gripped the steel pipe in his hand. Xu Ao looked at the steel pipe, which gleamed eerily under the light, and couldn't help but shudder. His body instinctively wanted to back away, but this action only made Saudi Arabia more amused. He seemed to enjoy seeing Xu Ao's fear of him. Now he was quite interested in watching Xu Ao's terror and despair with nowhere to hide.
Soon, Xu Ao's back hit the wall, and a dull pain came. The wound on his back, which had been numb, seemed to be activated, and the pain spread throughout his body through his nerves and blood vessels. He couldn't help but feel a twitch at the corner of his mouth, and his body instinctively curled up. His arms, which had been numb for too long, did not seem to have fully recovered and could not support his throbbing body in time, causing Xu Ao to fall directly to the ground.
Saudi Arabia smiled and approached Xu Ao step by step. At this moment, Xu Ao was completely exposed under Saudi Arabia's steel pipe, with no cover. Xu Ao watched as Saudi Arabia stared at his legs as if he were prey. He had no choice but to endure the pain in his back and struggle to crawl forward with his hands. Not being afraid of Saudi Arabia's threats and intimidation did not mean that he could not escape.
The once spacious hall now looked more like a circular cage from which he could not escape.
Just as he managed to stand up, Saudi Arabia suddenly swung the steel pipe at his back of the knee. "Ah!" Xu Ao instantly lost his balance and fell back to the ground. Xu Ao realized that Saudi Arabia had not used his full strength in the blow to his back of the knee; it was just to prevent him from getting up.
Xu Ao turned around and looked at the smug-faced Saudi Arabia, his eyes filled with malice. He knew in his heart that Saudi Arabia intended to treat him like an animal, to break his will and make him beg for mercy. Hmph, what a devil from hell!
Saudi Arabia looked at Xu Ao's fierce gaze and said with a smile, "What? Are you angry? You know what I want to hear from you. If you tell me, I might consider letting you go."
"Dream on!" Xu Ao said as soon as Saudi Arabia finished speaking. Then he took a deep breath, endured the dull pain in his leg muscles, and slowly straightened up by supporting himself against the wall with his right hand, looking directly into Saudi Arabia's eyes.
Seeing Xu Ao's still tenacious spirit, Sha Te narrowed his eyes and gripped the steel pipe in his hand even tighter. Then, pointing the steel pipe at Xu Ao's left knee, he said with a gloomy face, "This time I'm aiming carefully." After saying that, he raised the steel pipe in his hand.
"Boss, something's happened!" a mercenary shouted as he ran in, before even getting close.
Xu Ao stared intently at Saudi Arabia, his eyes showing no fear whatsoever. "We'll talk about it later!" Saudi Arabia said impatiently to the mercenary.
"Boss, it seems our armory has been robbed!" The mercenary quickly explained, ignoring Saudi Arabia's orders. They were just a group of people who came together for money, and there was no close camaraderie among them. Without weapons, how could they protect their own lives? At this point, Saudi Arabia's orders were no longer effective.
Sure enough, after hearing this, Saudi Arabia finally put down the steel pipe in his hand, turned around and looked at the mercenary in surprise, asking, "What exactly happened?"
“When we were changing shifts, we suddenly noticed faint lights in the direction of the armory. All our people are here, except for those guarding the third floor and the people on the first floor. We’ve already withdrawn the guards from the shed area; they’re all here. Who else could be at the armory?”
"Did you check it out properly?" Saudi Arabia asked impatiently.
“Boss, all our men are here. If there are other people at the armory, wouldn’t we be courting death if we went there?” The mercenary looked at Saudi Arabia with some anger.
"Fools, what if you're seeing things? Besides us, all that's here are those spineless cowards waiting to die. Who else could it be..."
At this point, Saudi Arabia suddenly seemed to remember something, turned to look at Xu Ao, and then grinned in astonishment: "Could it be that your friends, in order to save you, actually broke into our territory? What, you Chinese people also become thieves? I thought only people from H country would do such a thing! Haha, if that's the case, then they themselves are the ones who came to our door, humph!"
As if he had thought of something more interesting, Saudi Arabia turned around and threw the steel pipe in his hand to the ground. A sharp, piercing sound echoed throughout the hall, followed by Saudi Arabia's sinister voice: "Go, bring them all back to me. I want to treat them well."
Saudi Arabia turned and glanced at Xu Ao, a bloodthirsty glint in his eyes. He then led the mercenary to the door, and Xu Ao limped after him. After a loud whistle, a rustling sound came from the stairs, and at least thirty mercenaries came down from upstairs and stood in neat rows in the hall.
