Chapter 165: Exploring the Treasure

Lin Xuan stood in front of a dense forest, with his companions behind him. They had been walking in the forest for three days and had hardly found any valuable clues. There was a mysterious and dangerous atmosphere in the forest, as if warning them not to go any further.

"These symbols look like an ancient code." Li Hao said, "We need to decipher these codes before we can open the stone door."

"Let me try." Zhao Linger took out an ancient scroll and began to interpret the symbols on it.

A few minutes later, Zhao Linger finally found a set of matching symbols. She gently pressed a few of them, and the stone door made a low roar and slowly opened.

"Success!" Su Wan'er shouted excitedly.

"Go in, but be careful, there may be traps inside." Lin Xuan reminded everyone.

After they walked into the stone door, they found a spacious underground passage with exquisite murals carved on the walls on both sides, depicting the glorious history of ancient civilization. At the end of the passage was a huge stone chamber with an ancient treasure chest in the center.

"This is the legendary treasure." Wang Yang's eyes flashed with excitement.

"Wait, don't act rashly." Lin Xuan stopped Wang Yang, "Places like this usually have protective measures."

Sure enough, when they approached the treasure chest, the ground suddenly shook, and a team of fully armed stone statues walked out of the wall and approached them.

"Prepare for battle!" Lin Xuan drew his sword and commanded everyone to enter combat status.

"These stone statues look difficult to deal with." Zhao Linger waved her staff, preparing to cast a spell.

The battle was fierce, and Lin Xuan and his companions worked together to fight against these powerful stone statues. Su Wan'er moved quickly, using her agility to attack the joints of the stone statues, trying to weaken their mobility. Li Hao used his shield to block the stone statues' attacks, buying time for his teammates.

"Lin Xuan, pay attention to the right side!" Zhao Linger shouted, and a bolt of lightning shot out from her staff, hitting a stone statue on the right and knocking it to the ground.

"Well done, keep attacking their joints!" Lin Xuan slashed with his sword and successfully broke the knee of a stone statue.

As the battle progressed, they gradually mastered the attack patterns of the stone statues and defeated these powerful enemies one by one. When the last stone statue fell, the entire stone chamber returned to peace.

"We succeeded." Wang Yang panted and smiled victoriously.

Lin Xuan walked to the treasure chest and gently opened it. Inside lay a sparkling gem and several ancient scrolls. "This is the treasure we are looking for." Lin Xuan said, "This gem has great power, and these scrolls record the wisdom of ancient civilizations."

"That's great. These treasures will definitely help us improve our strength." Su Wan'er said excitedly.

"But we can't let our guard down." Zhao Linger reminded, "There are other people looking for these treasures, and they may do something bad to us."

"That's right, we must leave here quickly and take the treasure back." Lin Xuan nodded in agreement.

They quickly packed up the treasure, left the stone chamber, and headed back to safety. They knew that this was just one stop on their adventure, and there were more challenges waiting for them.
