Chapter 107 The Power of Protection

The sun was high in the sky, and the scorching sun shone through the dense leaves, casting mottled shadows on the ground. Lin Feng led the team to explore deep in the forest, hoping to find the legendary guardian power.

"This is a really dangerous place," Lieyan said, using his sword to push away the weeds while looking around cautiously. "We have to be careful, we don't know what might pop up."

"Don't worry," Xuewu's voice came from behind, and she waved her staff and cast a protective barrier. "With my magic, we will be safe."

Lin Feng walked in front with a focused look. "According to the map, there should be a hidden cave here, and the power of protection is there."

They continued to move forward, and soon a huge stone wall appeared in front of them. On the stone wall was an ancient rune that flickered with a faint light.

"It's right here!" Lin Feng's eyes flashed with excitement. "Lieyan, help me push this stone wall away."

Lieyan nodded, and together with Lin Feng, they pushed the stone wall away. The stone wall slowly moved, revealing a dark cave entrance.

"Go in, and be careful." Lin Feng waved his hand, signaling everyone to follow.

Inside the cave, the air became cold and damp, and there was silence all around, with only the sound of their footsteps echoing in the cave. After walking for a while, they came to an open space with an altar in the center that was glowing with blue light.

"That's where the power of protection lies." Lin Feng walked towards the altar and carefully touched the blue light.

Suddenly, a blue light flashed, and a huge and transparent guardian spirit appeared in front of them. The guardian spirit looked down at them majestically, and said in a low and powerful voice: "Who are you? Why did you break in here?"

Lin Feng was not afraid at all and answered firmly: "I am Lin Feng, we need the power of protection to protect our home."

The guardian spirit was silent for a moment, as if examining Lin Feng's sincerity. Then it said, "If you want to gain the power of guardianship, you must pass my test. Are you ready?"

"Ready!" Lin Feng answered firmly.

The guardian spirit nodded and waved his hand. The surrounding environment suddenly changed and they were teleported to a huge arena. In the arena, all kinds of ferocious beasts roared and pounced on them.

"Protect yourself!" Lin Feng shouted, waving his sword and rushing towards a huge demon wolf.

Lieyan and Irene were not to be outdone, and they dealt with their respective enemies, while Xuewu cast magic in the rear to support everyone.

The battle was fierce and tense, and everyone tried their best to resist the attacks of the beasts. Time seemed to be very long, and they were almost knocked down countless times, but they survived every time with the teamwork and firm will.

The last beast fell, and the arena returned to peace. The guardian spirit appeared again, with admiration in its eyes: "You have passed the test and proved your courage and strength. The power of protection will belong to you."

The blue light rose from the altar and slowly merged into Lin Feng's body. He felt an unprecedented power flowing through his body, as if the whole world was under his control.

"Thank you, guardian spirit." Lin Feng bowed deeply to the guardian spirit.

The guardian spirit nodded slightly, and then gradually disappeared into the air. "Remember, the power of guardianship is not only strength, but also a responsibility. I hope you can use it to protect this world."

"We will." Lin Feng nodded solemnly.

After they walked out of the cave, the sun shone on them again. Lieyan smiled and patted Lin Feng on the shoulder: "This adventure is really thrilling, but we finally got the power of protection."
