Chapter 345 Lou Qi, let's part ways amicably, okay?

Jiang Xing had been having trouble sleeping for the past few days for no apparent reason. In her half-awake state, she heard someone unlocking the door.

Then came the faint sound of the living room lights being turned on, followed by the sound of a man's footsteps.

The footsteps were very light, but she could tell they were footsteps.

It's an abandoned building.

The footsteps stopped abruptly the next second, and then there was no more sound.

Jiang Xing gradually lost sleepiness, got out of bed, quickly changed into her outdoor clothes, and saw Lou Qi standing in the middle of the living room, looking at two large suitcases in the corner.

Jiang Xing looked directly at him without flinching, knowing that he had actually heard her clearly.

Lou Qi's face looked even worse. Jiang Xing couldn't tell whether his pale complexion was due to physical exhaustion or emotional distress. It was as if he was trying his best to suppress his emotions and was about to explode.

"Are you negotiating with me?" Lou Qi said very decisively, "Jiang Xing, I've told you before, if you don't agree to get married, I don't agree to break up either."

Jiang Xing never expected that Lou Qi would still refuse to break up with her after she did something that damaged the Lou family's reputation in order to get revenge on Ying Kaian.

She didn't need to ask to know that Lou Qi must have gone back to the Lou family to deal with his parents these past few days. After so many days, hadn't he figured out the pros and cons yet?

"I packed my bags three days ago, but you haven't come back yet, so I haven't had a chance to tell you in person," Jiang Xing stated his position. "Lou Qi, let's part ways amicably, okay?"

Her tone was calm and gentle, even giving Lou Qi a strange sense of pleading.

From the time they met until now, apart from the incident involving her father, Jiang Xing has never yielded to him. Now, she is actually begging him because she wants to break up.

Shouldn't he have stayed up all night dealing with all that mess and rushed back?

If I don't rush back, I won't give her the chance to break up with me!

Lou Qi gritted his teeth, trying his best to make his emotions seem less terrifying.

"Jiang Xing, I know you weren't with me willingly in the first place, but after more than half a year together, all you can think about is breaking up amicably?" Lou Qi's voice was hoarse as he spoke, as if he were humiliating himself. "You don't like me at all?"

The sun has already risen.

A new day begins.

Life should get back on track.

“No.” Jiang Xing felt a tightness in his throat. “Lou Qi, I agreed to be with you to deal with Ying Kaian.”

Jiang Xing had never said such harsh words of rejection before.

She dared not look at Lou Qi's expression, dared not think too much about his reaction. She even felt that it was difficult to breathe, and her heart felt a strange discomfort.

Jiang Xing pulled her two pre-packed suitcases and left the apartment without looking back, her steps quick and she dared not linger.
