Chapter 314 I have no intention of breaking up

"Baby, what's wrong?" Lou Qi noticed Jiang Xing's unusual behavior and asked patiently.

"Get out!" Jiang Xing repeated.

Lou Qi raised an eyebrow in displeasure, got out of bed, and went to the bathroom.

Jiang Xing sat on the bed with her legs bent, hugged herself with both hands, buried her face in her knees, and took a deep breath.

She stayed by Lou Qi's side solely to bring down Ying Kaian and make him wish he were dead. She only considered Lou Qi a partner; how could she be swayed by the messages in his email?

She knew how outrageous his past was, so why should she care?

She...she shouldn't have done that.

Lou Qi came out of the bathroom with a cold face and saw Jiang Xing sitting on the edge of the bed with his knees drawn up to his chest, lost in thought.

Moonlight streamed in through the cracks in the window, making her appear somewhat lonely and desolate, like quicksand that was impossible to grasp.

Lou Qi's anger at being rejected by her subsided almost instantly, and instead, he felt a strange sense of panic.

"Jiang Xing."

"I'm sorry, I was just... in a bad mood." Jiang Xing spoke up when he saw that he was not speaking.

Lou Qi stood there, stunned, as the last remaining flame went out with a 'pop!'

Lou Qi ground his back teeth, feeling like he was a lunatic, before kneeling down on the bed, pulling Jiang Xing into his arms, and stiffly saying, "I forgive you."

Then, changing the subject, she asked, "Why are you in a bad mood? Did someone at work upset you?"

"No." Jiang Xing turned her head, met Lou Qi's gaze, and asked, "Lou Qi, how long have we been together?"

"When do we start counting?" Lou Qi blurted out, "The first time we met? Or when we officially became a couple?"

Jiang Xing was somewhat confused. "Confirmed relationship... what kind of relationship?" he asked. "A sugar daddy/sugar baby relationship?"

"Establish a relationship."

"106 days."

Jiang Xing looked at him with some surprise. These are precise?

"Okay." Jiang Xing lay down in the blankets and said sullenly, "Let's go to sleep."

She felt Lou Qi hug her tightly from behind, encircling her in his arms.

Jiang Xing wasn't used to this sleeping position at first, but she's gotten used to it now.
