Chapter 128 Night Scene

Night fell quietly, and the lights of the city gradually lit up, shining like stars. After dinner, Su Jingsi and Ouyang Mengmian walked out of the room side by side. They took the elevator and went straight to the top floor of the 41st floor.

The two stepped out of the elevator and turned a corner. A heavy wooden door suddenly appeared in front of them. Su Jingsi took a step forward and pushed open the heavy wooden door in front of him. Su Jingsi and Ouyang Mengmian walked forward and after turning the corner, they saw several sets of tables and chairs placed not far ahead. The two did not stop and walked for more than ten steps to the rest area with tables and chairs. The rest area was planted with green bamboos, which were thin and well-proportioned, and looked very elegant.

Ouyang Mengmian likes bamboo very much, so she motioned to Su Jingsi to sit down and rest for a while. The two of them sat at a set of tables and chairs at the edge of the bamboo forest, where they had a wide view and could overlook the night view of the city.

In the distance, the brightly lit skyscrapers look like stars inlaid in the night sky; the real stars are like shining gems hanging high in the vast sky; and not far away, the lights in the garden and the starlight complement each other, creating a quiet and mysterious atmosphere.

Su Jingsi and Ouyang Mengmian sat at the table, feeling the rare tranquility and beauty. The hustle and bustle of the city seemed to be isolated at this moment, and they seemed to be in a secluded paradise.

Su Jingsi pointed to the brightly lit city night scene in the distance and said to Ouyang Mengmian: "Look, this is the city we live in. Although it is prosperous and noisy, it also has its unique charm."
